How do i get file rendd3d.cpp. line 3156 for bloodrayne 2?

It's not a file you need. the file is already there and when te game run's it finds a problem in the code of the game. I looked around on the net and there are very few results for it. A quick count says about 10 people in the world have a problem similar.

I suggest the following:

1. do a thourough scandisk: goto MY COMPUTER, right click on the drive where the came is stored most likely C: and select PROPERTIES.

Click the TOOLS tab, Click on the CHECK NOW button, check both check boxes and click START. it will give you a warning message. Tell it YES, so it can check your harddrive when you have restarted. RESTART the computer, and let the scan run.

2. When it's done, re-Install Directx 9. It is probably on the Bloodrayne 2 CD. Maybe you should re-install blood rayne anyways.

3. Next you should download the latest drivers for your screen card, if you haven't already. Your screencard should also support hardware Transform and Lighting, but it will probably tell you, you don't have it when you start the game.

for Nvidia drivers check

for ati

4. Worthy of mention is that a virus could have altered the code of hte EXE file and an internal check by the game suspects foul play and gives you the error message. So update your Anti-Virus software, and run a scan. i ain't saying it's that but it's a possiblity.

Lastly, the support site for this games is absolutly crap.
