tried to uninstall my old web cam for a new one.get this message when i go to contoll panel/add remove.ready? setupdll\setupdll.cpp(439)papp;vimcro usb camera (zco30 1plh)driver.pvendor;vimicro.corp.etc etc,goes on and on.is this a virus or is there a solution.i want vimicro web cam out.

u dont need to uninstall the old one for the new one. but what u can do is though i am unsure where and how u saw this message, u can go to device manager, (right click my comp, click props, click the hardware tab, then open device manager, and click ur old device and press uninstall. ur old device SHOULD be in the imaging devices, but check all the device types if u need to.

Reply:Usually they come with their own uninstaller, have you gone to All Programs and looked for your webcam there, that's where you could find it.
