Can't write dual layer DVDs with Acer Aspire 2002lm?

I have the Acer Aspire 2002lm laptop. Both times I tried to burn dual layer DVDs I got errors almost half way during burning. The errors were coming from the hardware, so I don't think it's a software problem. I'm using Nero 7.





I have tried one Verbatim and one TDK disk. I am including part of the log file.

Can't write dual layer DVDs with Acer Aspire 2002lm?
This isnt necessarily a hardware problem. You could have gotten a bad batch of media. Try different media and make sure it is the proper type. If you have more errors, have Acer swap out the burner.
