Problem installing Comand and Conquer: the First Decade?

When I try to Install, an error message appears after about two seconds of installation.

I've already tried it after shutting off my firewall and virus protection (zone alarm) but it still doesn't work.

Problem installing Comand and Conquer: the First Decade?
Strange error, google it yet? as long as it's a store bought copy, not a bootleg. And the cd isn't scratched.





All I can recommend, is installing the latest video drivers, and install the latest DirectX.





Also enter the task manager, CTRL+ALT+DEL to terminate any un-needed applications.
Reply:no clue why. i installed it last year on xp service pack two and had no problems. i recommend using their support link on their homepage. they should be able to help you there.
