Cant uninstall 3dmark06?

when i go to uninstall 3dmark06 i get this :

then i click ok to that message and i get this





Setup has experienced an error.





Please do the following


-close any running programs


-empty your temproray folder


-check your internet connection (interned-based setups)





Then try setup again.





Error code: -5001





How do i fix this?





also i got this exact same error when uninstalling oblivion expect the stuff said oblivion, to fix it i had to reinstall the game without unchecking the read read me file, i dont think thats how u fix this but is it a concidence?

Boot in safe mode and uninstall.
